Iran appreciates Bangladesh’s balanced position in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East. The embassy expressed its sincere gratitude for the condolence message sent by the Bangladesh government following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Leader of the Ummah and Great Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. It particularly commends the adoption of a condolence resolution in the inaugural session of the 13th National Parliament, which is a significant and exceptional initiative.
The embassy expresses its gratitude for the presence of a senior official of the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry to sign the condolence book at the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka. The embassy also appreciates the decision of the Bangladesh Prime Minister to send emergency medical assistance to Iran through the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, the statement said.
