The effectiveness of Zelensky’s “tour” of Europe was assessed

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Vasily Nebenzya, commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visits to European countries. His remarks were quoted by TASS .

Nebenzya emphasized that the situation in the Middle East has pushed the Ukrainian conflict into the background. He believes Zelenskyy sees a diminishing return on European tours for Ukraine.

“He apparently thought he could endlessly and effortlessly wheedle money from his Western sponsors, intimidating them with the idea that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were the only obstacle standing in the way of Russia’s access to Europe,” the diplomat emphasized.

Nebenzya previously stated that the conflict in Ukraine continues because of Zelenskyy and European leaders. He also claimed that the Ukrainian leader is exporting mercenaries and weapons that are popping up all over the world.
