The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are starting from Tuesday (April 21). The exams will continue till May 20. The results of the exams will be published within 60 days, said Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon.

The Education Minister said that strict vigilance will be maintained to prevent crime during the SSC and equivalent examinations this year, and strict action will be taken against the criminals if any attempt is made to damage the examinations in any way.

He said that this time there is no instruction to give humane marks in the assessment of the paper, the evaluation will be based on the answer sheet.
The Education Minister said that the exams will be conducted in a joyful atmosphere and the results will be announced within 60 days.
The minister said that a total of 18 lakh 57 thousand 344 candidates will participate in the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of these, 9 lakh 30 thousand 305 are boys and 9 lakh 27 thousand 39 are girls.
