Export diversification is the need of the hour and halal products can play an important role in this regard, said Mohammad Hassan Arif, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive (Additional Secretary) of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
He made this statement while speaking as the chief guest at a workshop titled ‘Halal for Export Diversification’ organized by the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) on Saturday (July 18).
BCI President Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury (Parvez) presided over the workshop organized at the BCI boardroom.
