Ministers and state ministers visit Liberation War Museum

When they arrived at the museum premises on Monday (April 20) afternoon, they were warmly welcomed by the museum’s trustees and concerned officials. At the beginning of the visit, the Minister and the State Minister laid wreaths at the altar of Shikha Anirban (fire sculpture) installed at the entrance of the museum. They observed a moment of silence there to pay deep respect to the memory of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great liberation war. After paying their respects, they toured the various galleries of the museum. Highlights of the visit: Members working at the museum briefed the Minister and the State Minister in detail about the various spectacular plaques engraved on the walls of the museum and their historical context.
