A bear approached people on the street in the Moscow region and was captured on video.

A bear jumped out onto a busy roadway in a Moscow region neighborhood. The incident was captured on video published by the Telegram channel “First Moscow.”

The footage shows the bear cub crossing the road, along which several cars are passing, toward residential buildings. He successfully crosses the road, but his subsequent path remains unknown—whether he headed into the residential area or not is unclear.

It was previously reported that these predatory animals roam near populated areas in the Mozhaisk, Shakhovsky and Taldomsky districts.

As biological sciences candidate Pavel Glazkov explained , they are looking for food, and since there are no berries in the forest yet, they are attracted by the smell of food waste.
