Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that war is not good for anyone and that while remaining firm in the face of threats, rational and all diplomatic means should be used to reduce tensions.

Pjeshkian made the remarks during a visit to the country’s Ministry of Justice on Monday (April 20), BBC reported.
He said the Iranian people “must be kept informed about the reality of the country.”
The Iranian president also said, “False information or unrealistic promises do not help solve the problem, but on the contrary, they destroy the people’s trust.”

He said, ‘Both successes and challenges should be presented to the public with honesty.’
Earlier, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Tehran had no plans to participate in the next round of talks.
