Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on the Presidential Guard Regiment (PGR) to pay special attention to ensuring that the people do not feel isolated while ensuring the security of the state and the head of government.
He made this statement while addressing the chief guest at a function organized to mark the 51st founding anniversary of the President Guard Regiment (PGR) at Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday (July 5).
Stating that as the head of a democratic government, she wants to maintain her reliance on the trust and love of the people, the Prime Minister said that she often has to participate in public meetings and various state programs in the capital and remote areas of the country. Ensuring security in a large gathering of people is somewhat complicated.
