The government has reshuffled the posts of six Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Police, including DIGs of three important ranges in the country.
The reshuffle order was issued in a notification signed by Toushif Ahmed, Deputy Secretary of the Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Sunday (July 5).
According to the notification, Special Branch (SB) DIG Md. Iqbal Hossain has been posted as DIG of Dhaka Range. Barisal Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Ashiq Sayeed has been posted as DIG of Rajshahi Range and Barisal Range DIG Md. Mostafizur Rahman has been posted as DIG of Khulna Range.
