The father of former small screen actress Bonya Mirza, Mirza Abul Hasnat Inamul Bari, passed away on April 15. He was a retired government official. A couple of days later, on Friday, the actress wrote a long and emotional post about her father on social media. In it, she highlighted her father’s simple lifestyle, honesty, and some memories of his last moments.

In a Facebook post, Bonya Mirza wrote, “My father Mirza Abul Hasnat Inamul Bari left us on April 15, 2026, at 10:45 am, to another unknown world. All children like to think of their father as honest and brave. But my father is truly honest and brave. He had no complaints about life. He just wanted us to be in front of him always.”
The actress writes, “But we never understood it. Because our life was very simple, still is. He has supported many people in his career. I am not bragging about his honesty. Rather, I see it as a normal thing or so we see it. Yet I am saying it today because he is no longer anywhere.”

The actress mentioned that her father fought with a smile even during the days of open heart surgery after retirement. She wrote that her office colleagues also knew. He never came late to the office. He suffered a lot but remained smiling. After retirement, he underwent open heart surgery. We do not claim that my father was a special or great person. He is an ordinary person and a father. We are also very ordinary like him, and our lives are the same. We learned to live like this from my father.
Bonya Mirza shared another emotional piece of information in her post. She said that the night before her death, her father made a video call to all her family members and apologized. The next morning, he passed away to another unknown world.
The actress also said that her funeral will be held at Mansurabad Jama Masjid after Zuhr prayers next Saturday (April 18).
