Veteran actor Abul Hayat has described producer and actor Tauqir Ahmed as his ‘first villain’. He said that Tauqir Ahmed is the one who made him cry the most in his life.

Abul Hayat made these comments at a program titled ‘Taukir Ahmed after six decades’ held at the National Theatre of the Shilpakala Academy on Sunday (April 19).
At the event, he first said,
A creative person can be someone who has not only traditional knowledge but also other knowledge. Tauqir has that. Tauqir’s greatest quality is that he reads books. He reads different types of books. If I talk to Tauqir for an hour, I feel like I learned a lot from him in that hour.
Abul Hayat also said,
Bipasha also has the same disease of reading books. When she was in the tenth grade, she finished reading the Quran, Vedas, and Bible. She still reads books. After reading, she tells me stories. The day these two people came together, I cried a lot. That’s why I still say that Tauqir made me cry the most.

Overwhelmed with emotion, he said,
The day Tauqir got married and took Bipasha away, I have never cried so much in my life. I have two daughters. I cried at the weddings of both daughters. Among them, Tauqir is the ‘first villain’. But I am happy. Everything in Tauqir’s life is organized and calculated.
Finally, Abul Hayat said,
How can I describe Tauqir as a person? He has no less devotion and respect for us than he does for his own family, his mother and siblings. We are like his own parents. In his personal life, he is the father of two children. He brings up both children like a mother. I always say, Tauqir, whether you live in America or Bangladesh – stay like that and keep working.
