One person has died of dengue in the last 24 hours, while 350 dengue patients have been admitted to various hospitals in the country during the same period.
This information was given in a press release on dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (July 12).
It said that among the patients admitted to hospitals with dengue in the last 24 hours, 158 are in Dhaka division, 17 in Mymensingh division, 31 in Chittagong division, 70 in Khulna division, 95 in Barisal division and four in Sylhet division.
As of July 12 this year, a total of 8,323 people have been hospitalized with dengue.
A total of 7,570 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals so far this year. Currently, 728 are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
