A total of five children, including four suspected measles cases and one confirmed measles case, have died across the country in the past 24 hours.
This was announced in a press release sent from the control room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (July 12).
It said that the number of suspected malaria patients in the last 24 hours is 879 and the number of suspected malaria patients from March 15 to July 12 is 111,480.
The number of confirmed cases of malaria in the last 24 hours is 90, and the number of confirmed cases of malaria from March 15 to July 12 is 13,500.
From March 15 to July 12, 94,340 people were admitted to hospitals with suspected measles. During the same period, 90,605 people were discharged from hospitals after recovering.
