HSC-equivalent exams postponed in Chittagong until July 16

The HSC/Alim/HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce examinations scheduled for July 13, 15 and 16 in Chittagong have been postponed due to adverse weather conditions and floods.
On Saturday (July 11) evening, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, President of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, made this known in a letter sent to the chairmen of all boards.
The letter said that in view of the flood situation, the reports of all the Deputy Commissioners under the Chittagong Education Board and the request of the Examination Controller of the Chittagong Education Board to postpone the examination, the HSC/Alim/HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce examinations-2026 scheduled for July 13, 15 and 16 of the Chittagong Education Board (all districts) and the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board under the Chittagong Education Board have been postponed.
The examinations of other education boards and Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board (except districts under Chittagong Board) in other districts on the said date will be held as usual.
