Iranian Ambassador to Dhaka Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi has expressed his sincere gratitude to the Bangladesh government for sending a high-level delegation led by National Assembly Speaker Hafizuddin Ahmed to the state funeral of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
He expressed this gratitude during a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (July 5).
At the time, the Foreign Minister reiterated Bangladesh’s deep condolences over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He also highlighted the solidarity of the people of Bangladesh with the people of Iran in this difficult time.
