He reported that de Maglio had flown to Russia to conduct master classes for GITIS students. “Claudio de Maglio suffered a rather serious cerebral hemorrhage. He became ill, and a regular Moscow ambulance arrived. The doctors immediately realized it was a serious case. They took him to Botkin Hospital,” Zaslavsky shared.
On the eve of Easter, on April 11, he underwent a “very complex operation.” The director is now out of danger, and he said that Moscow doctors gave him a second life.
In December 2025, a man with a stomach displaced into his chest due to a car accident was saved at Botkin Hospital.
