Minister for Labor and Employment Ariful Haque Chowdhury has said that our future generation is very talented and has great potential. If given the right guidance, they will take the country far ahead.
Seeing these young winning students today, I am very optimistic about their future.
The minister made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the award distribution ceremony of the essay and writing competition organized with the participation of college and university level students on the occasion of ‘Great May Day and National Occupational Health and Safety Day 2026’ at the conference room of Shram Bhaban in Bijoynagar, Dhaka on Sunday (July 26).
The Labor Minister said, “The current government is a labor-friendly government. It is not possible for any nation to progress without skilled workers.”
China has come a long way in the world today by utilizing its skilled labor force.
Highlighting the importance of a safe working environment for workers around the world, Ariful Haque Chowdhury said, “Although the safe working environment of workers is given top priority in developed countries of the world, the desired importance is still not given to the issue in factories in our country.”
