On Sunday (July 12), BanglaNews correspondents reported waterlogging, traffic jams and suffering from various areas of the capital, including Mirpur, Gulshan, Banani, Farmgate, Dhanmondi, Gulistan, Old Dhaka, Jatrabari, Dholaipar, Khilgaon, Rampura, Moghbazar.
The capital is experiencing intermittent heavy rains. The Meteorological Office said that the highest rainfall recorded in a single day in Dhaka in nearly 17 years was 175 millimeters.
