Jannatul Naureen Urmi, the joint general secretary of the central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra Dal, has commented that the people of Bangladesh do not trust two-party political parties.
He said, ‘They (Jamaat) try to take credit for any revolution in the country.
“If there were no written documents, they would say that they liberated the country too,” he said in an interview.
Jannatul Noureen Urmi said, “They are capitalizing on religion and doing politics by joining hands with various political parties. They are trying to make women’s freedom a kind of taboo.”

He said, “The people of Bangladesh never trust a divisive political party.”
“July belongs to all the people of this country. July has no stakeholders or masterminds. July was in everyone’s brain. The spirit of independence is like everyone’s. July is everyone’s.”
The Chhatra Dal leader said, “There is a group who are always opportunists. Who always like power-centric politics.”
“They were an anti-independence group during independence. Later, they joined forces with various political parties, capitalized on religion, and always tried to take credit for any revolution with the dream of achieving women’s freedom.”
