Four deputy attorneys general, who were in charge of handling cases on behalf of the state in the Supreme Court, have been issued show cause notices for allegedly intimidating and threatening Attorney General Ruhul Quddus Kajal. The notices charge them with serious misconduct and obstruction of government work.
Administrative Officer Md. Nasir Uddin issued the notice on Sunday (July 5) on the instructions of the Attorney General.
The four Deputy Attorneys General who received show cause notices are Md. Zahirul Islam Sumon, Md. Rafiqul Islam Montu, Muhammad Masud Rana and Md. Ashiquzzaman Nazrul.
