Dhaka: Ziaur Rahman Foundation Vice Chairman Dr. Zubaida Rahman has called for developing Dhaka Medical College Hospital not just as a continuation of past glories, but as a new institution of innovation, international cooperation, excellence in research and humanitarian leadership.
He made this statement as a special guest at a view-sharing meeting titled ‘DMCians’ Thoughts on Modernizing Bangladesh’s Health System’ organized at the college auditorium on Saturday (July 11) afternoon to mark the 81st founding anniversary of Dhaka Medical College (DMCC).
Dr. Zubaida Rahman, reminiscing about her life as a doctor, said, “No matter how technologically driven the advancement of medical science may be, people are always at its center. The true foundation of the medical profession is humanity.”
