The third edition of ‘Maya Bengal in Motion’ was organized to celebrate the upcoming International Dance Day (April 29) and the 123rd birth anniversary of Jasim Uddin.
Popular showbiz stars Sadia Islam Mou, Api Karim, Ishita, Azizul Hakim, Bijori Barkatullah, Nadia Ahmed, Tahmina Sultana Mou, Shabnam Faria, Pia Jannatul, Richie Solaiman, and Ajmeri Haque Badhon were present in the audience at the event held at the Aloki Convention Center on Friday (April 17).

All in all, MW Magazine presents a star-studded evening. Meanwhile, the large-scale dance drama set, technical support, and the masterful performance of the two legendary dancers spread an atmosphere of fascination throughout the entire event venue.
The event is dedicated to the memory of the folk poet Jasim Uddin. ‘Nakshi Kanthar Math’ is one of his best works, which has been translated into various languages of the world. It has been brought to the stage again through folk dance drama by Shibli Mohammad and Shamim Ara Nipa. The heartwarming story of Rupai and Saju’s love and separation comes alive in their dance.

The event was planned by another talented dancer, Anisul Islam Hiru. Rumana Chowdhury, Editor and Publisher of MW Magazine Bangladesh, and Malik Mohammad Sayeed, CEO of Square Toiletries, delivered important speeches on local dance and its recognition abroad.

The special dance drama will be broadcast on Maasranga Television on International Dance Day, April 29.
