Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made important remarks amid growing tensions and the threat of war between Iran and Israel.
“War brings no benefit to anyone,” he said during a visit to the country’s Law Ministry on Monday (April 20). “Just as we are determined to confront any threat, we want to use every logical and diplomatic means to reduce tensions.”
President Pezeshkian said about the current reality of the country, providing false information or unrealistic promises to citizens does not solve the problem, but rather undermines public trust.
According to him, the government should honestly present the challenges to the public along with its achievements.

However, hours before the president’s conciliatory remarks, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tehran had “no plans” to participate in the next peace talks.
