Trump’s speech casts doubt on Vance’s Pakistan visit

The second phase of peace talks to end the war between Iran, the United States and Israel has created extreme drama. Although US President Donald Trump has strongly demanded the signing of the agreement tonight, there are conflicting reports about the departure of the delegation.

In an interview with the New York Post on Monday morning (April 20), Trump said that a US delegation led by Vice President J.D. Vance is already on its way to Islamabad. Trump even told Fox News that a historic peace deal could be signed tonight.

However, the BBC reported that a deal is almost impossible tonight, given the vast geographical distance from Washington to Islamabad and the need for a break to refuel.

Meanwhile, a source told Reuters that US Vice President JD Vance is still in the United States. He has not left for Pakistan. In fact, none of the US delegation has left for Pakistan yet.
