Ukraine has questioned whether Rumen Radev will become the new Orban

The new Bulgarian government led by Rumen Radev will not play the role of a “new Viktor Orbán ,” but will create problems for Ukraine. Former Bulgarian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel Liga.net.

According to him, after the elections in Bulgaria, a coalition could be formed that “definitely will not be pro-Ukrainian.”

“However, since the Bulgarians don’t have their own games, they won’t replace Viktor Orbán, and they won’t block the loan for Ukraine. However, some issues, such as sanctions against Russia , will be more difficult to agree on in the EU . We will have problems too,” he predicts.

The party of former Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, dubbed a “pro-Russian politician” by the European Union, won the elections. Radev is known for his skepticism regarding military support for Ukraine and has repeatedly criticized the EU’s actions.
