In Moscow, since the beginning of the Second Military Operation, the write-off of almost 10 billion rubles in military debts has been suspended.

Since the start of the special military operation in Moscow, debt write-offs worth nearly 10 billion rubles have been suspended for military personnel. This was reported by RIA Novosti , citing the press service of the Moscow headquarters of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia. More than 73,000 enforcement proceedings have been suspended.

“73,238 enforcement proceedings totaling almost 9.5 billion rubles have been suspended against debtors called up for military service and those participating in combat operations as part of the Russian Armed Forces,” the statement said.

The agency described a case in which a mother of many children discovered that her husband, who was serving in the SVO zone, had outstanding loan debts, leading to enforcement proceedings being initiated. She filed a personal interview with the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for Moscow, and all enforcement proceedings were terminated in accordance with the established procedure.

As the Federal Bailiff Service reminded, effective December 1, 2024, proceedings on unpaid loans and mortgages of up to 10 million rubles against individuals who have signed a contract for military service for a year or more, as well as their spouses, will be terminated.

Earlier, Muscovites were reminded that they can receive a one-time payment of up to 44,000 rubles from the city for their wedding anniversary.
